We may collect information you choose to provide, including your name, contact number, email address, company details, requester or billing address, delivery address, site contact details, concrete requirements, project details, quotation information and delivery-booking information.
Why we process information
Submitted information is processed to respond to enquiries, prepare and follow up quotations, discuss concrete requirements, arrange or confirm deliveries, provide customer service, communicate about an order or request, and maintain appropriate business records. We only ask for information reasonably relevant to these purposes.
Consent on website forms
Where a website form asks for consent, the consent relates to processing the information supplied for the stated enquiry, quotation or booking purpose. You may choose not to submit a form and can instead contact Rock-Tuff directly by phone, WhatsApp or email.
Payment and confidential information
Do not submit passwords, PINs, full bank-card numbers or other unnecessary confidential information through the website forms. This website does not request or store full bank-card details. Where proof of payment is required, Rock-Tuff will advise how it should be provided.
Sharing and service providers
Information may be processed by service providers used for website hosting, form delivery, email or related business systems where this is necessary to operate the website or respond to a request. Rock-Tuff does not sell personal information to advertisers.
The Contact page includes an embedded Google Maps view. When that map loads, Google may receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details under its own privacy practices.
Retention and security
Personal information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the enquiry, quotation, delivery, customer-service, record-keeping, contractual, accounting or legal purpose for which it is required. Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards are used to protect information handled through the website and business systems.
Your POPIA rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask whether Rock-Tuff holds personal information about you, request access to or correction of that information, request deletion where appropriate, or object to certain processing. Some information may need to be retained where required for legitimate business, contractual, accounting or legal purposes.
