Controlled from batching to supply
Quality starts at the batching plant. Rock-Tuff Ready Mix applies batching, mix-design and testing controls to help ensure concrete is supplied in accordance with the specified requirements for each order.
Controlled Batching
Concrete is batched according to the specified mix requirements, with controlled material quantities and batching procedures.
Mix Design Control
Mix designs are selected according to the specified strength and project requirements. Special mix designs can be discussed where needed.
Slump Testing
Slump testing may be carried out where applicable to assess the consistency and workability of fresh concrete against the relevant requirement.
Cube Testing
Cube samples and strength testing may be arranged or performed where applicable and as specified for the project.
Plant Calibration
Batching equipment is subject to calibration and operational checks to support consistent material measurement and batching control.
General Quality Control
Quality-control measures are applied through batching and supply, with testing requirements managed according to the job and agreed specification.
Testing requirements: testing scope and frequency depend on the project, order and agreed specification and should be confirmed with Rock-Tuff where applicable.
