Specified mix / MPa
Use the project specification or select assistance if the required concrete specification is still being confirmed.
Plan a slab enquiry around the specified concrete strength, estimated cubic metres, site access and placement method.
For house slabs, workshop floors, commercial floors, yards and other slab-type pours, two pieces of information matter early: the concrete specification and the estimated volume. Rock-Tuff’s quote flow captures both, together with the site and delivery information needed for the enquiry.

Use the project specification or select assistance if the required concrete specification is still being confirmed.
Calculate or provide the expected cubic metres for the slab.
Indicate whether pumping is planned or if the site will use another placement method.
Provide the site address, access information, required date and on-site contact.
For a rectangular slab, estimated volume in cubic metres is length × width × thickness in metres. Rock-Tuff’s calculator can perform this estimate, but the final quantity should be checked against the project and site conditions.
Use the concrete strength stated on the project or engineer specification. The correct MPa depends on the design and intended use, so structural requirements should not be selected from a generic website example.
Concrete can be placed by different methods depending on the site. If pumping is planned, state the pump requirement when requesting a quote so the relevant mix and delivery requirements can be discussed.
The calculator provides an estimate only. Site levels, dimensions, wastage, over-excavation and other conditions can affect the final volume, so the order quantity should be checked before confirmation.
